Branded Doc · 2025
A character-led branded doc about identity, self-expression, and the quiet confidence of becoming yourself on your own terms.
A branded documentary concept for TomboyX, built around Emery, an artist whose sense of identity and self-expression came out of a hard coming-of-age. Her story carries the film, and the film asks what it takes to feel at home in your body, your clothes, and the version of yourself you had to fight for.
Position TomboyX through feeling instead of product placement, and tie the brand to something its customers actually live. Confidence, ease, queer identity, and being at home in your own body.
The film was designed to work as a brand asset rather than an ad. Lead with a real story, let the product sit inside it, and build the kind of association that paid social buys but rarely earns. This is a spec concept, so there is no campaign data behind it. What it demonstrates is the strategy, the casting instinct, and the execution.
