Britney x Barre
A sponsored barre and pilates class hosted by the NYC chapter of the Albanian Women's Association, built to serve the room and the feed at once.
The ask
Document the class honestly and curate a social ready gallery that carries the energy of the room, with the sponsoring brands visible in it but never forced into it.
The approach
I shot it like a documentary short. Wide frames to set the room, mid frames for the class, close unposed detail for texture. Sponsor moments were composed on purpose in camera rather than cropped in later, so the gifting, the branded socks and the setup sit inside the day instead of interrupting it.
The challenge
A small studio at capacity, and daylight that turned on us partway through. What started as bright window sun went grey and overcast within the hour. Rather than fight for angles I stayed close and kept moving, then unified the shifting color temperature in the grade so the gallery reads as one continuous story instead of two different afternoons.
The outcome
A gallery the chapter could publish that week and sponsors could repost untouched, covering the full arc of the day from setup and gifting through the class itself.
The event ran one afternoon. The gallery gives the chapter something to lead with all year.
